Terms of Use
1. The service
BrainFever Studio ("the app") is a macOS application by BrainFever Media ("we", "us") that generates and edits images, video and music using third-party AI models through our servers. The app is provided as is, and features, models and prices may change.
2. Your account
The app creates an anonymous account id on first launch. It is not linked to your name or email. Purchases are tied to that id. Keep it available (Settings → Account ID) if you contact support or move to a new Mac.
3. Credits and purchases
Renders consume credits. Costs are shown before each render. New accounts receive 5 free credits. Pro subscriptions grant 100 credits per billing month; unused monthly credits expire at the end of that month. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not expire. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable, except that credits for a render that fails are returned automatically. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled from the app or the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and does not refund the current period. Payments are processed by Stripe via RevenueCat.
4. Your content
You own what you make with the app, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers. You are responsible for the prompts, images and other material you submit and for how you use the output, including compliance with applicable law and third-party rights. Do not use the app to create unlawful content, content that depicts real people in a misleading or harmful way without consent, or content that infringes others' rights.
5. Processing
To render, the app sends your prompt and any source images or clips to our servers, which forward them to the model provider for that render. Outputs are returned to the app and saved on your Mac. We keep a short job record (see the Privacy Policy). We do not use your content to train models.
6. Availability
Model providers may be unavailable, slow, or change their behavior. We refund credits for failed renders but are not liable for delays, outages, or output quality.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrainFever Media is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page with a new date.
